Biographies
Bob Nesson
Bob Nesson is an independent filmmaker whose work fosters understanding of a complex world. His award-winning work encompasses war, politics, economics, the environment, urban issues, art, history, and science. As producer and director, cinematographer and editor, he has worked on hundreds of documentary films, programs, and commissioned videos. These include World Link, plus the Annenburg/CPB series Connect with English, made with McGraw-Hill, and Mundo 21, for Houghton Mifflin. Nesson currently focuses on education and environment, and features multi-part productions in language videos for major publishers. He is principal of Nesson Media Boston, Inc., and an active member of Filmmakers Collaborative.
Federico Muchnik
Federico Muchnik has been working as a producer in educational video publishing for fifteen years. He wrote and directed 48 fictional sitcom-style scenes for World Link English Fluency DVD, and earlier produced Longman Direct's ESL tele-course Hotel New England, and several worldwide productions for Heinle & Heinle Publishers. Federico was Associate Producer for the prize-winning McGraw Hill/Annenberg Foundation/PBS 52-part tele-course Destinos: An Introduction to Spanish. Fluent in four languages, he was born in Rome and raised in Paris, Barcelona, New York and Boston.
